Valentine’s Day has always been a lose-lose experience. You’re either out in the city trying to wine and dine for hundreds of dollars or you’re at home all alone.
Thankfully, the Hemsley Conservation Centre is here to help.
Their new program is called the ‘Name A Cockroach’ program, and, well, it’s exactly how it sounds.
For just $2, patrons will be able to name one of the centre’s cockroaches after an ex-partner.
The post reads:
For those that don’t quite require revenge, there’s another way to make you feel better about getting back at your ex this Valentine’s Day.
Sponsored Links:The HCC is offering the chance to name a cockroach in honor of your, or your friend’s worthless ex-“someone” on this special holiday of love.
Unfortunately for the ultra-bitter among us, the Hemsley Conservation Centre won’t display the name of your ex(es) on the certificate they send out. They claim that they don’t want to ‘fuel a fire’ on social media.
We can absolutely see how that might cause a problem online.
Proceeds made by the program will go towards more Hemsley projects.

Are you going to name a cockroach? Or worse, do you think someone will name one after you? Don’t worry: the UK zoo will share a ‘roast board’ of all the best names on social media.
2019 is off to a great start.
