1 – Owned and operated by Donald J. Trump, Mar-a-Lago is the only private club world-wide to attain the prestigious 6-Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, and is considered to be one of the world’s most sought after private clubs.2 – While the Mar-a-Lago Estate was opened officially in January 1927, it was purchased by Donald J. Trump in 1985 and used as a private residence until 1995.
